Wendy Richards is the heart and soul behind Empowering Business Growth. With over 30 years of entrepreneurial experience, Wendy has launched, grown, and sold three successful companies, learning first-hand what it takes to build a thriving business. Her journey, from overcoming adversity, to becoming a respected business leader, has shaped her holistic, compassionate approach to coaching and consulting.
Wendy’s story is one of resilience and inspiration. After moving to South Africa in 2003 in search of inner peace and happiness, she returned to the UK in 2019, determined to help others find fulfilment and success. Her autobiography, Her Mother’s Betrayal, chronicles her triumph over adversity and her unwavering belief in the power of hope, courage, and positivity.
As a Business Coach, Wendy is known for her fun, supportive style and her ability to help clients achieve “aha” moments and personal breakthroughs. She takes a holistic approach, helping business owners dig deep to overcome barriers and create sustainable, profitable growth.
Wendy is also the Director of Inspiring Happiness CIC, a social enterprise dedicated to supporting survivors of trauma and adversity. Inspiring Happiness CIC helps individuals rebuild confidence, find healing, and connect with others in a safe, supportive environment. Wendy’s lived experience and passion for advocacy shine through in every aspect of her leadership, inspiring others to reclaim their lives with courage and determination.
